What is the story of Hero Gaming?

Hero Gaming was born out of a varied and long career in the gaming industry.

My main concern was the lack of loyalty of players to particular brands/casinos and the fact they moved quickly and easily between platforms.

Industry leaders should listen to players’ needs, and I believe gamification should be introduced to the gaming industry.

I researched and found answers to the question, “What makes a game enjoyable?” I realized that Candy Crush was a game that could be introduced into the gaming industry. Hero Gaming was founded on this idea.

This would make players more loyal to a company. Casino Heroes was our first product.

You can play Roulette, you have slots machines, etc., but you also create an avatar and face different missions.

We combined gaming and gambling in this way, and it proved to be an excellent example of my loyalty theory.

How do you stay productive?

My problem is that my day gets absorbed by meetings.

I use my afternoons to work with creativity, innovation, and other pressing tasks.

Meetings are often scheduled in my mornings.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I am a guy who loves brainstorming. I started by brainstorming on a whiteboard and then brought in a team from diverse backgrounds.

A designer is always welcome in my room.

They can write down ideas in follow-up meetings and then have something to share viscerally.

It is fun to see the customer’s journey. Understanding the drivers is key and asking questions on every screen of the game is the key.

Digital interfaces should simplify things, understand the user’s intent, and make things simpler.

What’s your favorite trend?

Remote working is a trend that intrigues and fascinates me.

Is it possible to do this in real life? What does it mean for us as a company to interact? This has made me change my mind a little bit.

I love working in an office and being around people. But you can see now that COVID has been successful.

Our company has remained productive and intelligent, and our workers haven’t left.

These trends are exciting and can lead to new business opportunities. It also raises difficult questions: Should Hero Gaming expand entirely remotely? Or should we have small offices that allow everyone to come to work?

We are currently working on digital, physical training online.

What habits make you productive?

I am a productivity nerd. I am faster than the average person.

If asked, I could present a 2-hour session on polar bears in two hours.

It all comes down to speed and pace. This is what I excel at.

What’s your advice for the Noob?

Technology and production alone are not enough to win the race.

Great people are essential to your success.

Growing up, I was a chess champ and collected stamps digitally.

Then I began to work with SEO and built live websites.

It was all about showing the world that I could create amazing things.

Over the years, I learned that great teams and great people are essential to success.

What is one thing we can all agree on?

This is a question that I ask people when they interview for a job.

I can’t entirely agree that it is necessary to balance work and life.

My view is that work and life go hand in hand.

I can go on vacation and still attend a meeting.

I don’t have to worry about mixing the two.

Both are enjoyable for me, and it’s okay to combine them.

I don’t feel exhausted after a long day of work and then a couple of hours playing golf.

These two worlds are very much my mix.

What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?

Keep up to date with the latest trends. It is excellent to learn a lot about your industry.

This helps you plan and analyze your industry better.

Wayne Gretzky once stated, “It’s about where the puck’s at, it’s about where it’s going.”

This is how you plan your business and what the world will look like six months from now.

To be more successful at this task, you need to find inspiration from colleagues, podcasts, magazines, and other sources.

This will help you make better business decisions.

What’s your rich strategy?

Because my co-workers were fed up with me, I realized early that I needed an assistant.

I was overwhelmed by the number of papers and contracts scattered around my office.

My staff told me, “We need your help on other things.”

I learned to trust others and let go of control.

This is the Swedish way of doing everything all by yourself.

It is frowned upon to ask for help. To build things, I couldn’t be a bottleneck anymore.

How do you overcome Failure?

My mistake was taking too long to let go of a senior staff member. It took me some time to realize he wasn’t the right person.

Can you share a business idea?

We need to foster cooperation in meetings with more remote workers.

Digital software is required to facilitate collaboration.

This would allow for better design thinking/strategies or enable you to be more innovative in a group setting.

I cannot use any software to assist me, but this could be a great business opportunity.

What’s your recent best buy?

Recently, I went to Monaco and took 100 euros with me. But, I walked out with thousands.

What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?

Slack helped us to collaborate much more quickly when we introduced it.

Which book would you recommend?

Atomic Habits is a proven way to build good habits and break lousy ones by James Clear.

This is a tremendous opportunity to build a company in a new way.

It changed how I view running companies. What if we could change our approach to setting goals?

What’s your favorite quote?

“It’s about where the puck’s at, it’s about where it’s going.”

Wayne Gretzky

TL;DR by Georg Westin

It determines what the world will look like in six months and how your business can position itself.

My main concern was the lack of loyalty of players to certain brands/casinos and the fact they moved quickly and easily from one platform to the next.

Industry leaders should listen to players’ needs and introduce gamification to the gaming industry.

I thought it was about showing the world that I could create amazing things.

But, I learned over the years that great teams and great people are essential to success.
