Danny Bibi is the President and Founder of AdMedia.

This performance-based advertising network company helps clients scale their businesses and voice their opinions online.

AdMedia operates around 150 sites in its network and creates over 40 traffic products, including contextual.com, intextual.com, and others.

Contextual makes text ads compete with Google Adsense.

AdMedia also offers mobile ad products that display ads based on the user’s location.

AdMedia can help with new advertising ideas without relying on Facebook Ads or Google Ads.

To provide their clients with the highest return on advertising investment, AdMedia uses machine learning and AI.

What is the story of AdMedia?

Since 1995, I have been involved in online advertising.

I founded AdMedia around 20 years ago. AdMedia functions a lot like a conglomerate.

It combines all these pieces, sites, and verticals into one platform that does everything, from search to video on multiple channels.

AdMedia tries to see advertising from the user’s point of view.

Our data management platform has over 200 million profiles across the U.S., including detailed information like age, gender, and location.

It is possible to drill down to the individual’s goals and determine what they are looking for in the market.

It allows us to make informed decisions when buying advertising on a user.

It will enable us to target users across all channels and devices.

Over the years, we’ve acquired many companies.

Our squeaky unit, our search widget that goes onto websites, is an example.

It highlights buzz keywords that users are looking for to encourage them to click through to perform a search and then purchase a product.

All these value-add products allow us to target users with a single search.

We can crawl pages and determine the market or placement by reading the content.

To understand what a user is reading at any given moment, we monitor data from all over the internet.

Then, we package that information and run advertising campaigns for clients.

On all the enterprise brands we manage, 9 out of 10 times more than Google can be achieved.

We want to grow and get more advertisers.

This is why we market ourselves and try to get more exposure.

How do you stay productive?

There are always fires to put out and problems to solve.

However, I make every day productive by focusing on the new initiatives and projects that will be coming up in the next few months.

I’m always looking for new and innovative ways to do things that no one else does. These things are worth my time.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I view things from a high-level perspective, consider our options, and create a draft and place it on paper.

To test the viability of a few ideas, I make a project plan.

The whole team is available to help with new ideas, scaling them up and growing them after testing them.

However, a lot of this is just trial and error until you get the right mix.

It is impossible to plan everything. It’s about execution.

It would help if you did it for it to be successful.

It is a mix of creativity and technical skills.

This combination keeps me motivated. It would be boring if it were all about creativity and ideas without any execution.

It is motivating to see the results of all the Work, both creative and technical.

What’s your favorite trend?

The unification of all digital media on one platform is a trend that interests me.

What excites me most is the ability to manage campaigns and create custom campaigns for enterprise-level advertisers.

This allows me to surpass companies such as Google, Facebook, and Bing, which have much more resources than us.

It is great to hear that we have outperformed Google.

What habits make you productive?

It is essential to keep your head up and work through any problematic issues. Don’t get discouraged.

Do not let your feelings of sadness or worry get you down.

Instead, focus on the goal and work towards reducing risk.

What’s your advice for the Noob?

I recommend that you try to expand your technical knowledge.

Sometimes I look back and realize that I should have done this or tried this.

But I didn’t know in some cases. It’s now my motto to try anything, even if it isn’t in my field of expertise. I want to see if I can do it.

What is one thing we can all agree on?

I think everyone would disagree with that statement.

They would argue that you need the solution before getting the business.

However, I would say get the company first and create the solution.

Then, you can start to solve the problem.

You can waste a lot of your time and resources trying to build a solution and find a business to do it.

If you already have the company, you can work towards the goal of getting paid for it.

This is more of the entrepreneurial bootstrap mentality I have.

It’s not the same as the thinking of venture capitalists or large companies with hierarchies. You have something you want to work towards.

It is better to focus on the client than create a customized solution that will outperform other companies.

What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?

Keep an eye on your business book and the key people you will need to grow the business.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a startup or an established company. The concept is the same.

It is essential to constantly look at where you are now and determine what you need to move forward.

What do you need to do to keep it going strong, even if it is successful? Businesses die, and industry changes.

It’s not going to stay the same or remain static.

It is essential to continue looking for new ideas and critical talent.

People are the heart of a business. To sustain and grow your company, you need the right people.

You can get rid of any bad apples in your group by simply getting rid of them.

Don’t be afraid of negative reviews or other consequences.

It is okay because everyone in the business has their livelihood at risk.

You need to ensure that everything runs smoothly so everyone can keep their jobs and get their wages.

It is essential to see the bigger picture, and not just the individual who is doing nothing is unhappy or is not able to contribute to the company’s growth.

The company should eliminate them.

What’s your rich strategy?

Research, testing, configurations, and traffic integrations are essential to determine the most efficient and effective way to maximize advertisers’ inventory, traffic, conversions, and profits.

How do you overcome Failure?

The one failure I have had was hiring the wrong people.

While a poor hire can cost you a loss, they could not help your business grow or sustain itself.

They may even make matters worse. You will increase your overhead but not the production you need if you hire the wrong people.

Even though it can be challenging to find the right person, or they may be more costly and out of your budget.

It is worth the effort to hire the right person to help your business grow.

This principle also applies to the hiring of professionals like accountants or attorneys. It is crucial to hire the right people.

Can you share a business idea?

A virtual notary service is an excellent idea for a new business. It would be very convenient.

We should be able to accomplish this with the technology we have today.

What’s your recent best buy?

My LinkedIn advertising. It allows you to target the right people.

It’s been an excellent way to stay in touch with people, even during the pandemic.

We used to attend a lot of trade shows every year.

LinkedIn is a perfect way for us to connect with professionals.

What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?

Slack allows me to be more productive, especially with Slack messaging.

You can also set up phone conferences and team meetings.

It is easy because it all happens within one platform.

It’s easy to organize, and it is simple to navigate.

Which book would you recommend?

I recommend Work Disrupted: Opportunity and Resilience in the Accelerated Future of Work to Jeff Schwartz.

This document was published in 2021. It provides a solid overview of current work opportunities and discusses the effects of COVID-19 on the workplace.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Scars are a sign that a champion is here.”

TL;DR by Danny Bibi

Never give up.

Hire the right people to join your team.

Eliminate the bad apples.
