What is the story of the idea for Haskell’s Hustles?

To combine all my businesses into one place and shine a light on sales of my children’s books, I created Haskell’s Hustles.

Based on my last name. My friends and I used to park in a downtown Seattle parking garage when we were in high school.

The name Lustre Kings Productions (record label) was born. Sign indicating “reserved to Lustre Kings.”

How do you stay productive?

My days are full of action. My daughter and I wake up at 6 am to prepare for school.

After that, I head to school where I teach elementary school.

After school, I coach sports. After that, I pick up my daughter, take her to the events, cook dinner, and grade papers.

Because so many people depend on me, I can’t help but make it “productive.”

Ask me about my creative pursuits, but I don’t have the time. (Usually in the middle of routine or on holidays, weekends and summer vacations)

How do you bring ideas to life?

There is nothing to it but to do it. I will not accept any other ideas.

Next, create a step-by-step checklist of how you will accomplish it.

What’s your favorite trend?

Sincere to be truthful, I don’t follow the “trends.” It is my goal to create them, which will excite me.

What habits make you productive?

Focus and my work ethic. Nothing can distract me when I’m focused and locked in.

I won’t stop until my destination is reached. Set up a routine. This approach has proven to be successful.

What’s your advice for the Noob?

Do not listen to your fears, and you can do anything.

What is one thing we can all agree on?

You can achieve anything you desire. It’s possible to believe in yourself and do the hard work.

What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?

Be persistent. Establish a routine and surround yourself with support.

What’s your rich strategy?

Create a strong team. It deserves your attention every day.

Listen to the “nay-sayers,” and don’t let them get in your way.

It is much easier to push yourself if you have a support group that provides motivation and ideas.

If you want your plant to thrive, you need to give it care every day.

How do you overcome Failure?

Sometimes, you may waste limited funds. It was overcome, and the project moved forward.

We didn’t get discouraged, and we found other funding sources.

Can you share a business idea?

Start a company or product that offers something to children.

There will be many clients and more to come.

What’s your recent best buy?

Probably all the healthy food that I have been eating regularly.

You will be more motivated to achieve your goals if you are well-fueled.

What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?

This is an area I want to grow. I’m not tech-savvy, so I sometimes hire people to assist me.

Paypal is my favorite because they allow me to manage the finances of all of my businesses.

Which book would you recommend?

My The WaterHole and Passing gas in Class. Your kids will love them.

It is difficult for me to choose one because I read so many books.

What’s your favorite quote?

“I’m just bout this action, boss.”
Satchel Paige: “Don’t look back. Something may be gaining upon you.”

Marshawn Lynch

TL;DR by Corrin Haskell

  • Do not place people in boxes that might limit their potential; you will never know what people can do when they are motivated.
  • Do not make assumptions.
  • Believe in yourself and your ideas. Who will if you don’t?
