Electroimpact is a Seattle-based company that designs and manufactures automation systems for commercial aircraft.

Peter Zieve is the CEO and President of Electroimpact.

Electroimpact was founded by Zieve in 1986, shortly after he received his Doctorate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.

An accomplished engineer, and entrepreneur, Peter Zieve founded Electroimpact to capitalize on the low-voltage electromagnetic riveting technology he discovered during his doctoral research at U.W.

Electroimpact is now one of the leading aerospace automation companies in the industry.

It has evolved into an engineer-driven company that empowers employees with, according to Zieve, “vertical responsibility for all work, from concept to customer acceptance with minimal bureaucracy or barriers to success.”

What is the story of Electroimpact?

My doctoral research at U.W. led me to create a low volt electromagnetic riveting technology that I felt had great potential for commercial use, especially in aerospace.

It was important to me that it could be commercialized.

However, I also saw the potential for an engineer’s company where success would be the key driver.

Both ideas were realized with Electroimpact, which has been a success.

How do you stay productive?

I get up in the morning and go through all my emails immediately.

I deal with all inquiries and requests. Although I may be able to do some experimental work, it is not common for 500 employees to be highly productive.

I manage three divisions, and all employees must work together.

I am constantly challenged to keep up with the latest developments in a highly competitive environment.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Try to inspire other engineers to think about new ideas.

It is important to put new ideas in the right hands to be brought to life.

Finding the right engineer to help you realize your vision is critical.

What’s your favorite trend?

Electroimpact’s foreign subsidiaries are the most exciting.

The U.S. market is not very good. It is essential to use technology to supply their subsidiaries to their customers.

These needs can be provided to other countries, such as France and the U.K.

What habits make you productive?

I have a consistent early morning routine. I get up early and go to bed early.

What’s your advice for the Noob?

There are plenty of opportunities. Take your time and think slowly. Every step of the journey is worth it.

What is one thing we can all agree on?

This is something I find familiar. This question is an excellent example of the slogan “Anything that’s not tested doesn’t work.”

What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?

Everyone should try to remember things. Emails and calls get lost.

Every day I make an effort to recall everything I promised to do and work on what I haven’t yet done.

I keep track of the things that I have promised.

What’s your rich strategy?

We have made every effort to adapt our product lines to current customer needs.

We have added many new products in the last years and will keep adding more.

How do you overcome Failure?

There are always failures. It is essential to get to know your customers.

It becomes more difficult because of the rules and companies.

People don’t go to conferences anymore… It’s still… the only way to survive.

It would help if you got to know your customers.

Can you share a business idea?

Today, my number one idea is to love what you do.

It is vital to get to know your customers.

Although it’s more complex than ever, getting to know your customers is essential if you want to survive.

What’s your recent best buy?

Events change all the time. It is essential to organize your history.

It is important to archive your account.

Although it doesn’t cost much, you can manage your record for as little as 100 dollars.

It’s beneficial and doesn’t cost more than 100 dollars.

What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?

All of Microsoft’s software is used by me. Microsoft Teams is the ideal platform for today’s times, and it is an essential tool for running a business.

Which book would you recommend?

“Future Tech.” This book explains the workings of the aircraft industry.

If you don’t read this book, you won’t understand the aircraft industry.

Understanding the role of disruptive technology is what this book is all about.

What’s your favorite quote?

“The best is yet to be”

Trump

“Socialism only operates in two places: hell and heaven.

Ronald Reagan

TL;DR by Peter Zieve

A growth mindset is essential. There is so much information online.

Once you have chosen what you want, it is essential to find the best educational tools to help you reach your goals.

Having an intellectual curiosity to learn more has been an enormous asset to my professional and personal growth.

Take a moment – As an entrepreneur, it is easy to think 5-10 years ahead about your business strategy and plans.

Is it worth the effort if you don’t enjoy it “at the moment”? I want what I do and love to share these strategies with other business owners.

Don’t be afraid to fail. Every great entrepreneur learns from their mistakes and returns even more successfully after learning from them.

To gain a fresh perspective, find a mentor.

You will learn that failure and rejection are not the ends of the universe.

Data can be used to help you set goals.
