Michael Patrick Carroll is the Founder of CARROLL, a nationally recognized leader in the real estate industry.

As CEO, he is responsible for defining and implementing plans to improve the overall portfolio of CARROLL.

He is a leader in his industry by expanding the portfolio’s various facets.

M. Patrick Carroll is also very disciplined in investing and works hard to balance acquisitions and dispositions.

This has resulted in more than 88 properties exiting the portfolio with success and $4.2 billion in profits.

M. Patrick Carroll also focuses on philanthropy. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay and Jesuit High School Foundation.

He is also a member of the good standing of several industry associations and makes donations to charitable causes around the globe.

M. Patrick Carroll currently donates to over 50 charities that support early childhood health and wellness development.

M. Patrick Carroll can show the younger generation that there are many roads to success.

He has made it his mission to inspire young entrepreneurs.

These young entrepreneurs are encouraged to follow their dreams and be focused on health and well-being as a lifestyle that will get them to the top.

What is the story of CARROLL?

One of my most significant accounts in the clothing industry was the inspiration for my aha moment.

I always asked him for his advice and was constantly learning from him.

I struggled with quitting the clothing business to become a real estate agent.

He stopped me mid-sentence to tell me his thoughts on the possibility of leaping.

I received advice from a trusted man: “Go for It; You’re Young.” I was 23 at the time.

This was a low-risk decision. You can swing when you’re young.

It doesn’t matter if you can’t hit every pitch.

How do you stay productive?

Every day is different, and there are always unexpected “fires,” but I try to stay organized and see every task as a building block for tomorrow’s success.

Despite multitasking, I try my best to concentrate on each task and give it the attention it deserves.

CARROLL’s company culture is very collaborative.

I spend a lot of time ensuring that my teams are supported and that things move forward.

How do you bring ideas to life?

Because the world is highly competitive today, I have to establish trust, credibility, and authority in my industry.

You have to be proud of your achievements to build authority and credibility.

You need to be aware of creating a brand and a reputation.

Building trust takes time. You can’t have confidence if you don’t have a business.

You can think of it this way: everyone doing business with you trusts you somehow.

It’s a fatal blow to your company if you lose that trust.

It is very, very important. It takes a deep belief and faith in doing the right things and a strong core belief.

If you keep doing the right thing repeatedly, good things will come to you.

What’s your favorite trend?

One trend is the increased usage of technology during COVID and the expected future changes.

All types of employees will depend more on technology to accomplish their work and integrate their personal and professional lives.

Businesses will be more dependent on technology. It is essential to be familiar with the technology industry.

Or you can surround yourself with people who have technical skills because that’s how the world works.

What habits make you productive?

My success has been mainly due to my dedication to salesmanship. You can have great ideas and plans.

But if you don’t convince others to invest in you and partner with you, your chances of success are slim.

What’s your advice for the Noob?

I would tell myself to trust my instincts. I have doubted myself in the past, and now I see that I should have followed my gut.

One example: You hire someone who is highly recommended and looks excellent, but something doesn’t feel right when you meet the person.

You may feel something inside you telling you it’s not the right choice, but you convince yourself to do it anyway.

This has not worked out for me, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Listening to your gut and asking for opinions is the trust but verify the model.

What is one thing we can all agree on?

Retail is the only industry I think will continue to decline after COVID.

It is likely that the hospitality industry, which includes hotels and airlines, will continue to be in trouble.

While many people believe these industries will rebound, I see things differently.

There will be significant opportunities for those who can take advantage of this downturn.

The person who can figure out how to make the most of all these shopping centers and hotels will be able to make a lot.

What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?

I am focused on building relationships with institutional investors, lenders, brokers, and on-site teams.

This allows me to attract top talent and opens up endless opportunities for the company.

What’s your rich strategy?

Self-starters founded my business. We want our employees to be able to recharge and avoid burnout.

I encourage them to take breaks, go on vacations, exercise and take care of their health.

This has helped us create a positive work environment that has enabled our business to grow.

How do you overcome Failure?

Entrepreneurs make the most common mistakes by trying to move too quickly or taking on partners when it’s not necessary.

Similar failures have happened to me as other entrepreneurs.

While I can’t pick just one, I can share one of today’s most common mistakes.

Sometimes, I see great ideas in these CEOs, these founders.

They also have multiple co-founders. Because they have just reduced their equity by at least 50%, I think that co-founders or founders bring a lot of value to the table.

Sometimes, I think people find comfort in having a partner or co-founder.

Sometimes that can be a very costly proposition. It is possible to avoid this problem by establishing trust with others, encouraging them, but not being afraid to do it on your own.

Be a founder. Do not be afraid to make difficult decisions. This is the best way to go.

Can you share a business idea?

The pandemic brought about and will continue to bring an increased focus on healthcare.

There are also opportunities in this field. After this, I believe healthcare will change the way people view it.

COVID-19 came out of nowhere, which shocked me.

I have had to reconsider the fact that I travel all the while and am constantly around many people.

How do I protect myself? How do I stay healthy?”

This will lead to a greater demand for apps, products, and services that help us better care for our health and monitor it.

What’s your recent best buy?

I believe that investing in your business and yourself is the best way to spend your money.

Even if you don’t invest in yourself, giving back to your community is vital.

What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?

Software that allows me to work remotely with my team is crucial in today’s world.

These technologies have allowed us to keep our business moving even in times of crisis.

They are the software that has enabled me to be productive.

Which book would you recommend?

Zig Ziglar’s Born To Win: Find Your Success is an excellent guide to unlocking your potential and relying only on yourself to achieve success.

This book covers the skills required to succeed in the professional world and includes lessons that can be applied to any aspect of your life.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Early to bed, Early to Rise” “Work like hell and promote.”

Ted Turner
