Lola Tillyaeva (Lola Till), a wellness activist, author, philanthropist, and creator of The Harmonist Maison de Parfum, which was inspired by the philosophy of Feng Shui, is Lola Tillyaeva.

Lola worked with top perfumers using natural ingredients to create a range of scents that had a unique, modern signature.

She also made a global luxury brand with a Paris flagship store.

Lola is a mother of three, a businesswoman, and a chairwoman of charitable foundations.

She also has philanthropic interests. She is also the author of “Be your Harmonist,” a self-help guide that aims to educate and advance knowledge about the delicate interplay of our mental, emotional, and physical health.

Lola Till has a master’s in International Law from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and a doctorate in Psychology from Tashkent State University.

She recently completed her apprenticeship at Gaia School of Herbal Medicine in Malibu and Earth Education, California.

From 2008 to 2018, she was Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to UNESCO.

She is known for her charitable work, including the “You Are Not Alone Foundation,” which she started in 2002 and continues to support.

It provides education and homes to Uzbekistan’s most vulnerable children.

She and her husband, Timur Tillyaev, also established educational programs that offer scholarships to young Central Asian students to study at European universities.

Lola and Timur Tillyaev supports many cultural projects, from films to art exhibitions to cinema.

They also produced the award-winning documentary Ulugh Be: The Man Who Unlocked the Universe in 2017.

In 2017, they also launched “The Droplet,” an innovative multisensory installation that aims at stimulating discussion around water, one of the most vital elements of the planet.

What is the story of The Harmonist Maison de Parfum get its idea?

I wanted to create a perfume company that was more than just about beautiful scents.

I have been fascinated by Feng Shui’s ancient philosophy for many years.

It is based on balancing the fundamental elements of the universe, metal, fire, water, wood, and earth.

This can help to create harmony. As a passionate perfumer, I thought it would be a good idea to translate Feng Shui’s language into scent.

I wanted to create fragrances that help people tune in to their inner energies and harmonize with nature’s energy. This is how Harmonist was made.

How do you stay productive?

My typical day starts at 6 am. My golden rule is to not pick up any gadgets until after I’ve completed my morning meditation, had time with my family, and eaten breakfast.

It is essential to start the day calmly to be ready for the day’s rest.

When I check my email at 9 am, it helps me be my best and most productive. From 9 am to 4 pm, I spend most of my day working remotely or in the office.

Focusing 100% on my business and work allows me to do more work in less time.

I can also avoid taking my work obligations with my family or into the evenings.

I spend the evening focusing on my family and making time for myself. At 6.30, I have dinner with my spouse and children.

After that, I do my homework and spend quality time together. I am available to answer any business-related call.

Because you never know when your day will end. These distractions are minimized, and I try to stay 100% focused on one task at a given time.

I practice yoga, read a book, and sip chamomile tea to relax at the end. After 9 pm, I get ready mentally for bedtime.

This includes meditation and reading. I’ve come to believe that good sleep is essential for long-term productivity.

These techniques can help me increase my productivity on my regular days.

It becomes challenging to be efficient when making more than five decisions per day.

I focus on the most critical decisions that I must make and make most of my essential decisions before 3 pm. I delegate and simplify the rest.

* Prioritize and plan

Prioritizing and planning are crucial to productivity.

I have a set of priorities that I follow for the month, week, and day.

I try to avoid creating substantial daily to-do lists that include everything I want to do.

I know I won’t be able complete them, and it will waste my energy trying to stop windmills.

Instead, I choose 2-3 priorities per day that will make a difference in the business and other areas of my life.

* Please take my well-being seriously

Meditation twice a day, yoga, and regular breathing exercises are all ways to feel good.

Make it your daily routine. Do what you find essential and helps you feel productive.

Everybody needs to replenish their resources. Otherwise, productivity and creativity can suffer.

My productivity depends on knowing when to take a break, stop and breathe.

How do you bring ideas to life?

First, I consider how original and innovative an idea is. What’s unique about it? Is there anything similar? What benefits can this idea bring to society? What can this idea do for people? After evaluating an idea and determining that it is valuable, I move on to its implementation.

To ensure the best realization of an idea, I plan each stage carefully.

Planning, prioritization, and a strong team are crucial to bringing ideas to life.

What’s your favorite trend?

Sustainability. We all have finite resources, so we need to work together to reuse, recycle, and re-invent technology to maximize Mother Nature’s gifts and minimize the impact on the climate, environment, and species that share this planet.

Sustainability is a business imperative. The Harmonist uses sustainably sourced ingredients whenever possible.

We offer refill services for our signature perfumes vials and our deluxe packaging.

This is good for both the client and the environment.

What habits make you productive?

It is essential to be able to prioritize effectively.

It will help you save time and money by prioritizing your business needs.

Stick to your plan once you have established a hierarchy.

Soon you will realize that it is much more efficient to focus on the essential tasks than to spend too much time on things that are not necessary.

My goal is not to waste any of my limited energy. Things go unattended when I’m tired.

Prioritizing saves me energy and makes me more productive.

What’s your advice for the Noob?

Do not rush. Everything happens at its own pace.

What is one thing we can all agree on?

Many people would disagree with my belief that consciousness is the only thing in the world.

Consciousness can be seen in limited forms in yourself, others, animals, plants, rocks, and other materials in the world.

Our experience is consciousness in dense conditions. This principle has been around for centuries.

Yet, it is often ignored or ridiculed today by a society that only understands and sees material wealth.

What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?

I listen to my inner voice and trust my gut instincts.

I would advise you to keep true to your ideas, to remain focused, and always be focused on the end goal.

What’s your rich strategy?

Three stages are required to grow a small business.

It’s essential to start by laying the foundation.

We spent three years prepping our product before we launched The Harmonist.

This stage involves brainstorming, planning, market research, and market analysis to find your niche and ensure your business offers something unique.

You must be patient and diligent during this preparation stage if you wish to reap the benefits later.

The second stage is all about natural growth. This stage is about building good relationships with our clients and understanding their opinions about our product.

To ensure that our marketing is on the right track, we also assembled a solid network team.

It’s crucial to have a solid group of professionals who can guide the growth process at this stage.

Although it’s difficult, you must be patient and believe in yourself.

The third stage of growth is the final. This is where you evaluate your options.

To maintain growth and expansion, you need to think strategically.

This stage can be an opportunity to think about the possibilities for your business.

Always look for partners who can benefit your business.

Learn from others in the industry to help you follow the momentum maxim.

How do you overcome Failure?

I disagree with the term ‘failure’ and don’t like it.

There are natural ebbs, flows, and a cycle between growth and contraction.

The contraction phase can reflect on our past, gain strength and prepare us for the next growth phase.

We must learn from our mistakes.

We’ll be better prepared for the next step of growth if we learn from our mistakes.

Can you share a business idea?

My opinion is that sustainability and circular economies are critical trends for entrepreneurs.

These include green consulting, wellness retreats, recycling, and sustainable production of niche products.

There are many opportunities. There is an opportunity in upcycled furniture.

People are increasingly looking for furniture that is both fashionable and sustainable.

It is possible to create a business that upcycles antique furniture, from Ikea to rare pieces of furniture.

This can be done by completely reusing the materials or restoring fragments in their original shape.

What’s your recent best buy?

The masterClass is the app that you should choose.

This app is brilliant because you can learn everything from classical guitar to oriental cooking.

It’s simple to use, and you can move at your own pace.

It’s inspiring to see famous athletes, artists, and creators sharing their experiences.

I enjoyed the writing, acting, and Japanese cooking classes.

What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?

The simple stopwatch on my smartphone is an invaluable tool.

The second timer helps me keep my breathing steady and slow as I practice daily meditation.

The mind becomes more relaxed when the breath is taken in.

This allows us to tune into slower brain waves.

Slower brainwaves encourage creativity.

I can increase my energy and productivity by slowing down.

Which book would you recommend?

The Body by Bill Bryson. This book is a must-read for everyone.

It contains the most valuable information about us.

This book is a great way to start self-knowledge.

Knowing yourself is the best wisdom.

It’s also helpful in understanding the history and current state of medicine and where we are today regarding our mental and physical health.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Knowing oneself is the first step to wisdom.”

Aristotle

Key Learnings:

You will soon be able to plan and prioritize effectively and achieve what you have set out for.

Your wellness routine should be your guiding principle.

Self-care is one of the most essential and neglected aspects of modern society.

We cannot add value to the world if we aren’t well.

Patience is a virtue. Believe in yourself, have faith, and follow your passion. Don’t believe in “failure.”

There are natural ebbs, flows, and a cycle between growth and contraction.

The contraction phase is a time to reflect, strengthen, and prepare yourself for the next growth phase.

You can set a big goal, but you should take small steps towards achieving it.

You can take baby steps towards your goal by taking one step at a given time.

To ensure that you don’t drain your energy, measure how big your actions are and adjust them accordingly.
