Jimmy Mistry knew precisely what he wanted to do when he shifted his business focus to the community early in his career.
He formed the Parsi Resource Group in 2006 to bring together people from the same community.
This community is one of India’s oldest and richest. Its purpose was to help priests who were still struggling to make ends meet while also influencing society.
He became more involved in his community’s strengthening and won a competitive election to become a trustee of Bombay Parsi Panchayat, a 300-year-old charitable organization.
He made a difference in community service and political experience through his passion for returning what was done to him.
A lesson that he gratefully credits his parents with teaching.
To pay tribute to the victims of the 26/11 terrorist attacks, he established D.A.T.A. (Della Adventure Training Academy).
It aims to rekindle the desire to serve the country and provide the best survival and counter-terrorism training.
He continues to see the world as it is today and how it should be.
He believes social entrepreneurs are not meant to be heroes who work tirelessly in isolation.
They should be leaders who create opportunities for others and help to end social inequality.

What is the story of Della Leaders Club?
I believed that there was no support system for serial entrepreneurs, and the idea for Della Leaders Club was born from this.
As a generation entrepreneur, it was clear that there is a gap and that entrepreneurs need support.
I, therefore, created the first platform in the world that provides that support.
How do you stay productive?
My days are jam-packed with work. To make your day productive, you must accomplish at least one thing from everything you plan to do throughout the day.
This one thing should be performed with 100% dedication and steadfast commitment so that at the end of the month, you have at most 26 to 27 things you achieved that are significant rest in a day’s work.
How do you bring ideas to life?
Design thinking is something I believe in. Design thinking is a discipline in management.
To make any idea a success, starting with the ideation stage and research is essential.
It would help if you also allowed yourself to have childlike curiosity and be inspired by your environment.
You will begin to understand the design thinking process to make your ideas a reality by following these principles.
One of these is rapid prototyping. Whatever your opinion, you must prototype it.
You can either move on to the next page or go back to the drawing boards and start over. This is how ideas come to life.
What’s your favorite trend?
After the pandemic, I am excited by the human-centric design trend, which sees empathy playing an integral role in every person’s life.
Empathy is an essential factor in the D.N.A. of any individual or organization. Everything is different.
Because empathy allows you to see the value in thinking about others before you consider yourself, everything beyond seems exciting.
What habits make you productive?
Perseverance is the habitability to see clearly. Execution is crucial.
It takes persistence and perseverance to achieve your goals as an entrepreneur.
What’s your advice for the Noob?
My advice to my younger self would be not to take life too seriously.
It might be to have more fun, take at the moment, and not focus on the future.
If I could rewind, I would cherish the little moments of my life.
What is one thing we can all agree on?
It is essential to reach out and ask for help. Although it is an excellent tool, most people don’t want to use it.
Others do not believe in their abilities. Most people will receive a positive response if they reach out to someone and ask for their help.
You might not get the help you need, but I guarantee you will get it at least five times out of ten.
What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?
As an entrepreneur, trust is key to my success. Stephen Covey’s quick trust assessment has helped me believe in the power and effectiveness of trust.
Your results will be more successful if you trust others. This is the one thing I recommend to everyone.
What’s your rich strategy?
My business has grown because I allowed myself to pivot. Every time I felt stuck, there was a reason to.
I was able to ride to increase my business and continue learning and growing intellectually.
It also helped me keep going on quests to find something more significant, more impactful, and something that could impact society and the world.
How do you overcome Failure?
Entrepreneurship is not about growth or failure.
You can’t have success and increase if you don’t hit the ground.
How you deal with loss will determine your success or failure. To succeed, one must believe in himself.
Can you share a business idea?
There are more requirements for concierge services, and they should not be limited to the wealthy or super-rich.
However, customized services should be available for everyone at a lower price.
This is a need, and it should be explored. There are few of them, and they are limited to the very wealthy.
It would be a great idea to create a concierge service for the rest.
What’s your recent best buy?
Frontify was a platform that I discovered recently. Our group has six brands, all named Della: Della Resorts. Della Adventure. Della data. Della villas. Della Leaders Club. Della Talks.
It allowed me to host my brand, becoming an excellent repository and brand guide. A platform is a great tool, and it’s worth every penny.
What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?
Zoom is something I use every day. This software has enabled me to connect with thousands of people around the globe.
It is directly or indirectly responsible for innovating and creating the first global business platform.
Without the ability to reach people seamlessly and do so economically and efficiently, none of this would be possible.
Which book would you recommend?
I believe people around the globe have a great vision and a fantastic strategy. They lack the discipline to execute.
Execution by Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan is my recommendation.
It has been a staple in my life for many years.
It is a book I cannot stop recommending to people. You need to master the art of execution.

My favorite quote is one I learned very early from J.R.D. Tata: “No success or accomplishment in material terms is worth it unless it serves the needs and country and is done by fair and honest means.”
