John Bazzo, an American investor and entrepreneur, is the managing partner of My Wine Society.
John’s journey to becoming a co-owner of My Wine Society began with a passion for wine, which led him to invest in the company as an early investor.
John has been able to leverage many of his past relationships through John’s involvement with My Wine Society.
He signed on multiple sponsors for the My Wine Society App, and nationally-recognized live events called the Blended festivals.
He was also instrumental in creating and implementing MWS Loyalty Club, which is an online wine club subscription that ships directly from consumers.
John is the company’s Managing Partner and is passionate about sharing his love for wine and hosting social events in various communities.
John’s contributions to the wine business have been acknowledged by the Italia Innovation Program, Wine Spirits, and Education Trust.
He even shared his love of wine and knowledge on the Love Connection, hosted by Andy Cohen, FOX.
John’s career highlights a great path to leadership.
John graduated from Cornell University in 2006. He was an athlete on Cornell’s Varsity Football Team.
After graduation, he joined Cintas to become a Management Trainee.
While at Cintas, he has achieved the highest levels of achievement in every position he held.
John was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award as the General Manager of Southern California.
He also received multiple President’s Club Awards from the Sales organization.
John graduated recently from UCLA Anderson with an Executive Masters in Business Administration, dual mastery certificates in Entrepreneurial Studies, and Global International Management.
John served as the Anderson Board of Advisors’ acting president while on campus.
John reaches wine enthusiasts via the wine app, loyalty program community, and festivals.
His life mission is to use his passions, history, and partnerships in wine to create exceptional experiences for wine lovers by growing the MWS Loyalty Club online community and hosting world-class in-person experiences through the Blended Festival in cities around the globe.

What is the story of My Wine Society?
The My Wine Society Loyalty Club was created during the pandemic quarantine to give wine drinkers a way to interact and connect with the brand.
We made way for people to share and connect beyond digital screens.
How do you stay productive?
Every morning, I get up at 5:15 and head straight to boxing class.
After I return home, I walk my dog. My work begins around 8 am.
You can find me on my phone or computer. My work usually lasts all day, with a short break around 4:30 pm for me to go to the gym to lift weights.
Post-gym, I spend my time answering customers or prospecting for new clients at the computer. This lasts until 8 pm.
I love wine and have invested in it. So before I go to sleep, I like to enjoy a glass of wine as I unwind from the day while picturing the next day.
How do you bring ideas to life?
Entrepreneurs need to be able to “go” or “make it happen.”
These are two simple tips for entrepreneurs who have aspirations to be entrepreneurs.
Motivation is not enough. It’s essential to get great feedback and guidance.
You must be passionate about what you do. To achieve your goals, you must put in the effort.
I find it enjoyable to travel and explore new cultures.
Also, I travel as often as possible. It expands your perspective.
What’s your favorite trend?
It is exciting to see wine becoming more popular in different situations throughout the day and with a broader range of people.
The wine was a staple of Italian childhood. Older adults would have a glass.
Thanks to wine brands ‘ innovation, almost everyone can now enjoy wine other than traditional cocktails. It’s lovely to see.
What habits make you productive?
Every day, being an early riser sets the pace for productivity.
It can be challenging to get out of bed in the mornings.
My mind is more open when I push myself to get up and begin my day. I am mentally stronger.
It can be hard to get out of bed. It is the most challenging part of the day for me to get out of bed.
It is a habit that activates me before I want to be.
This same practice also assures me I can solve any business problem with my mental acuity.
What’s your advice for the Noob?
Buy Bitcoin – Lots of it.
I’ve done so many things, and I was passionate about everything.
These experiences taught me not to take everything too seriously.
My younger self would tell me that you’ll be fine if your body is healthy and you have loved ones.
What is one thing we can all agree on?
I wouldn’t say I like being in debt to anyone. It is not a good feeling to “owe” someone.
It is necessary to pay everything promptly. Some people disagree and argue that it is best to live in some degree of debt to increase your wealth.
They might like that, but it is not for me. I prefer some peace of mind.
What do you recommend as an entrepreneur?
Innovating constantly is key to entrepreneurial success.
You will face the same obstacles tomorrow as you did yesterday.
Innovation is possible through brainstorming and Idea Sessions.
Keep them going, and you’ll be able to adapt your strategy or create new ones.
What’s your rich strategy?
It is crucial to hire great people. When you have the right people around you, there’s a flow of synergy!
It is essential to have the right people in your business who are as passionate about your business.
How do you overcome Failure?
I spent a lot of money on a business that was not my industry of expertise.
I was constantly flooded with more and more resources but never had the time or effort to learn about the ways of success.
It was time to move on and shut down.
Can you share a business idea?
It’s exciting to imagine opening a winery estate or hunting lodge.
The weekend getaway would be a great way to enjoy wine and good food.
What’s your recent best buy?
Any sporting ticket can be purchased. Sport is an excellent way of experiencing the world around us.
Both athletes and fans are excited. I love the scene and am very passionate about it.
If I’m not there, it will be a missed event.
What are your favorite Softwares or Apps?
My Wine Society finds Quip very useful in organizing and working on documents.
It streamlines communication between projects and daily operations.

Entrepreneurship is easy when you read the true story of David Goggins.
Reading Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins can give entrepreneurs perspective and mental toughness.
This is a truly inspiring book that every ambitious person should read.
What’s your favorite quote?
It is essential to have a positive outlook on life. I have many quotes that I live by.
But, one quote that sticks out to me is Henry Ford’s, “Whether it’s possible or not, you’re right.”
