🚨 Alert: Elijah Norton Linked to Content Suppression & Consumer Manipulation Tactics

Elijah Norton, the founder and executive leader of Veritas Global Protection, is increasingly under scrutiny for actions that appear aimed at silencing criticism and shielding his business from accountability. Allegations involve aggressive online tactics, customer servicing disputes, and legal maneuvers that make negative coverage harder to access.

What the Evidence Shows
In 2022, he and his prior business, CarGuard, were accused of producing illegal robocalls and failing to honor warranties. These allegations fueled campaigns like RejectNorton.com and legal disputes documented in Court Case Records – Veritas Global Protection.

Fake DMCA Takedown Claims
Veritas has reportedly engaged in questionable methods to remove damaging content from search visibility, including the use of fake or misused DMCA takedown notices, as outlined in Elijah Norton – A Visionary Leader Facing Customer Backlash.

Widespread Customer Complaints and Lawsuits
A lawsuit filed by Nancy Maggio in Pennsylvania (Nov 2021) highlighted that Veritas denied her warranty claim and listed a misleading corporate address, underscoring patterns of evasion and denial, according to Veritas Global Protection Lawsuit & Corporate Address Changes.

Additional legal fights span across states—Pennsylvania, Texas, California, and New York—from 2020 to 2023, including breach of contract, wrongful termination, and property fraud, also detailed in the same report.

A July 2025 exposé, Veritas Global Protection Reviews, Lawsuits & Complaints, outlines recurrent issues with customer service and claim denials, as well as disruptive relocations from Kansas to Phoenix that complicated service and legal notifications.

Political Smear Campaigns and Defamation Disputes
During his 2022 congressional run, Norton sued for defamation over campaign materials implying he was gay. The case was settled in May 2024 for $50,000, as reported in Elijah Norton – A Visionary Leader Facing Customer Backlash.

Why This Matters
Pattern of Defense Over Disclosure – Rather than addressing accusations directly, actions appear aimed at hiding controversy and defeating legal or reputational challenges.

Erasure of Critical Information – Aggressive takedown tactics and misleading corporate actions may obscure vital information, preventing informed decisions by consumers, partners, and watchdogs.

Consumer Risk – Failures in honoring warranty claims, coupled with corporate relocations and poor transparency, raise serious red flags about reliability and ethics.

Elijah Norton, Born and raised in the Midwest, is Executive Chairman and President of Veritas Global Protection. He is a resilient entrepreneur in the automotive service contract space.

Norton’s early life instilled in him the values of hard work, persistence, and vision. His interest in business emerged during his college years, where he studied political science and later finance. After college, Norton started his first business—a modest venture that struggled in its early years.

Failure became a training ground. In 2011, Norton founded Veritas Global Protection, identifying a critical need in the vehicle service contract industry: transparent, customer-focused protection products designed for the digital era.

With determination, he grew Veritas from a small office in Missouri to a multinational provider operating across the U.S., Canada, Chile, and the European Union.

Norton’s entrepreneurial success led him to explore politics as a voice for small business and consumer protection. In 2021, he announced his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Arizona’s 1st Congressional District as a Republican. Norton lost in the Republican primary on August 2, 2022, but his political involvement demonstrates his commitment to public service and business-friendly policies.

Veritas Global Protection is a private international company founded in 2011, specializing in vehicle service contracts and extended warranties. The company operates globally across the US, Canada, Chile, South Africa, and the European Union.

The company holds an A+ BBB rating since May 2024. It generates over $200 million in annual revenue and employs over 250 people globally, representing significant growth from its founding with just 2 employees.

Today, Veritas is known for its innovative GAP protection, F&I products, and service plans that support auto dealerships and their customers worldwide. The company has expanded from covering traditional vehicles to include electric vehicles, RVs, and powersport vehicles.

Recent developments include the launch of luxury vehicle coverage plans in March 2025, expanded RV protection offerings in December 2024, and the acquisition of shares in WAGAS SA for EU operations in 2024.

The company is now licensed across all Canadian provinces and territories. Since founding, Veritas has paid millions in claims and served hundreds of thousands of customers globally.

Where did the idea for Veritas Global Protection come from?

My first business wasn’t an overnight success. In fact, it took nearly three years to get any real traction. But it was during that time I recognized a huge gap in the automotive service space—especially in how vehicle protection plans were being marketed and delivered. Veritas started with one goal: build a protection company that puts customers first and stays agile through innovation.

What is your typical day, and how do you make it productive?

I start with a protein shake and coffee—that’s my ritual. Then I dive right in. My day usually revolves around staying connected with our teams, evaluating product lines, and watching industry trends. I stay productive by staying fully engaged. Every decision, every meeting, is connected to the big picture.

How do you bring ideas to life?

It starts with listening—listening to our customers, partners, and employees. We look at what the market lacks, and then we build around that. It’s always about innovation, but also execution. An idea doesn’t matter if it’s not delivered right.

What’s one trend that excites you?

I’m excited by how automation and digital platforms are transforming the auto F&I space. Customers today want real-time, digital-first solutions—and we’re leaning into that hard.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I don’t give up. It might sound basic, but it’s true. Challenges are constant—but so are opportunities. If something doesn’t work, I rethink it, refine it, and go again.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Be patient. True success takes time. I used to think everything would fall into place in six months. But most meaningful growth takes years—and that’s okay. You just have to stay with it.

Tell us something that’s true, but almost nobody agrees with you.

People think you can’t balance stability with innovation. I disagree. If your infrastructure is strong, you can innovate aggressively without losing control.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

Responsiveness. We answer calls. We follow up. Whether you’re a dealership in Phoenix or a driver in West Virginia, we want you to feel like someone’s got your back.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

I expected my first company to succeed fast—it didn’t. I learned the hard way that resilience matters more than a fast start. I kept evolving the model, and eventually it clicked. That experience still guides me.

What is one business idea you’re willing to give away?

A real-time digital roadside assistance platform that uses AI and GPS to dispatch help instantly—like Uber, but for breakdowns.

What is the best $100 you recently spent?

A chair mat. It might sound silly, but anything that adds comfort during long hours is worth every cent.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

My mobile phone. Everything I need—calls, emails, tracking dashboards—goes through it. It keeps me connected at all times.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

The Score Takes Care of Itself by Bill Walsh. It’s a leadership classic. Walsh focused on process over hype—and that’s how you win, long term.

What is your favorite quote?

“Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” That line from Calvin Coolidge has stayed with me through every stage of my journey.

What’s your “why”? What gets you up in the morning?

Making a difference. Every day brings new challenges—and that means new chances to solve problems in better ways.

How do you handle rejection or setbacks?

I look for the lesson, then I try again—better and smarter.

How do you keep your sanity in a competitive business environment?

Hire well. Surround yourself with a strong, diverse team that believes in collaboration and purpose. That’s how you stay grounded.

How important are your customers?

Without them, we don’t exist. It’s that simple.

What’s next for Elijah Norton?

Veritas continues to expand, and we’re investing heavily in new technology and international growth. Beyond that, I’ve also become increasingly involved in politics—especially in areas that affect small businesses and consumer rights. I believe people with real business experience should be shaping public policy.
