Adam Scheid was raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, as a Wisconsin cheese curd and advice Packers fan.
At a young age, he began his career in marketing by creating Html websites for middle school students and learning graphic design.
He enrolled in business classes in high school and won many awards for his marketing efforts throughout the state.
He continued his education at WP Carey School for Business, where he received a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Certificate in International Business.
He was both the Director of Marketing and Director of Technology during his time at ASU, which was then the most prominent US marketing club.
He was also the President of Marketing for ASU’s community service fraternity, which engaged in volunteer projects around the area.
He worked for WP Carey on several marketing internships, including New Global Citizens, an NPO that helps children around the globe, and Cramer-Krasselt (the 2nd largest independent advertising agency) in the US.
Adam graduated from the University with high honors.
He held three different digital marketing companies in top management roles.
These included website design, web development, graphic design, and social media management.
Communication with clients and many other things.
Adam gained a lot of knowledge and experience from his work.
He opened his agency, which later merged with Alex Vere Nicol to create The Bandsmen.
The Bandsmen is now one of Colorado’s most highly rated marketing agencies.
Brands have been consistently recognized for their top-quality services and products at the most competitive rates in the industry.
From where did The Bandsmen get their idea?
It cannot be easy to distinguish yourself from your competitors in the digital age.
Most domain names and names are already taken.
Alex Vere Nicoll, my business partner, and I were in Vail, CO, to launch our digital marketing and branding venture.
We needed something unique in the industry that could also describe what we do in one word.
It was not an easy task. We concluded that we are branders.
We knew there were firefighters, fishers, police officers, and mail carriers.
So we wondered why there weren’t “Bandsmen.” It was the only company name available in this space.
Google took a while for Google to find our business name in search results.
How do you make your day more productive?
I’m a master of many trades, so my day includes everything from checking off predetermined tasks on various digital media to solving the most complex problem or training staff to be more technically proficient.
My day is more productive when I prioritize and tackle the most critical tasks first.
How can you bring your ideas to life?
To bring ideas to life, there must be a lot of research.
This includes questions such as: who is the target audience? What are their interests? Who are the competitors? What are our client’s personal preferences? What unique styles, fonts, artwork, and colors can we use to express these ideas best? These will all be used to create a cohesive brand idea that can succeed in the market.
Which trend is your favorite?
Digital marketing is the wild west. Digital marketing is constantly changing.
You need to keep up with the latest trends and do high-quality intentional work to get tangible results for each client.
You don’t have to do it all because someone else will.
Which habit makes you more productive as an entrepreneur than another?
I do this every day, prioritizing what is most important to me for the day.
I remind myself not to focus on the task at hand but on what I must do.
I try to minimize distractions, especially when constant stimulation from the digital world.
My day is split between work and personal life. I will work hard if it’s work hours.
I won’t be transferred between places, getting lost on social media, or engaging in other distractions.
What advice would your younger self give you?
Keep working hard. It will pay off. You can’t beat tenacity, integrity, and perseverance.
We need to hear something you believe is accurate and that nearly everyone agrees with.
You may not love everything you do, even if you do it because you love it.
What is one thing that you recommend to everyone as a successful entrepreneur?
Keep organized. Stay objective.
Which strategy has been most successful in growing your business?
Many companies in the digital marketing industry are focused on new sales.
These companies view every client as a contract with an expiring shelf and spend most of their time worrying about who the next client will become.
This philosophy is expected in the industry. With integrity and a genuine desire to achieve great results, approach all client work.
We have managed to grow our business by building long-term relationships and spreading word of mouth.
Happy clients have been with us since over eight years ago.
How did you overcome that failure as an entrepreneur?
An employee we had hired had a strong resume and had an excellent interview.
We later discovered that the summary was falsified. For a brief time, this led to a hostile work environment.
We quickly ended all ties with the company and made improvements to our hiring process, including more detail about references.
Which business idea would you be willing to share with our readers?
Social media is a profile-centric interface that connects to all video streaming services like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc.
The interface allows you to add friends, follow celebrities and create interest groups.
You can also post about shows in the feed. You can then activate any watch history you want to show on your profile.
This can be shared with family and friends, so they can see your viewing habits and even recommend your favorite shows.
You might see grayed episodes of shows you don’t have streaming access to.
This could influence your purchase of streaming services that allow you to view the recommendations and watch the shows that friends recommend.
You can also follow your friends’ shows by knowing which episodes they are watching and commenting under them with @mentioning your friend.
You can even search for the shows with the most friends.
This will show you the most viewed show by all your friends.
It would link all your streaming services in one integrated interface.
This allows you to search across all categories and presentations on all streaming services.

Trello is beneficial for me to keep organized on all my tasks and prioritize those tasks based on due dates.
