As Chairman of Grid Energy Group since January 2018, my days focus on accelerating the adoption of clean energy technologies, particularly solar plus energy storage batteries. I spend significant time developing strategies that make it easier for businesses to take control of their energy use, achieve energy security, and reduce costs. I also oversee our investment initiatives, including funds that manage portfolios of asset-backed securities in the clean energy space. What keeps me productive is remembering our core mission: helping both businesses and residential customers understand and benefit from renewable energy solutions.

I build sales platforms that scale. During my time as Founder of EnviroSolar from 2016 to 2019, I spearheaded the growth of one of the fastest-growing solar brands in the country. My approach has always been about combining innovative technology with equally innovative ways to bring that technology to market.

Education is the foundation of success. I’d remind myself about the value of my finance degree from Texas Christian University, where I graduated magna cum laude in business. When I started in residential energy efficiency and solar in the south in 2010, many thought it couldn’t succeed there. Being a pioneer means facing skepticism.

Beyond the business benefits, these investments align with my passion for job creation and supporting communities.
